Professional Experience

  1. Co-Founder & Chief Scientist

    AQUMON (Magnum Research Limited)

    Co-founded AQUMON and led its core technical team, system architecture, and algorithm stack. Research focus spans portfolio optimization, machine learning for asset allocation, financial NLP, and LLM-enabled wealth management. Led delivery of AI-driven investment solutions for institutional clients across Hong Kong, Singapore, and the Asia-Pacific region. SFC Responsible Officer for Type 1, 4, and 9 regulated activities.
  2. Research in machine learning, financial mathematics, and stochastic control. Taught MATH2511 (Fundamentals of Actuarial Mathematics) and supervised MATH4999 capstone projects.

  3. Postdoctoral Fellow

    City University of Hong Kong

    Postdoctoral research with Prof. Qingshuo Song on stochastic control, financial mathematics, and probability theory.

  4. Visiting Scholar

    Imperial College London

    Collaborative research visit with the Department of Mathematics on stochastic control.

    Developed and delivered hedging and investment solutions for corporate and retail clients through derivative products.
